Tell Me More About Pure Guild Acne Treatment
Because Pure Guild does not employ solvents or the application of heat in its product manufacture, the active ingredients maintain their molecular integrity and full spectrum of biological activities.
Only the most gentle mechanical compression is used to extract the highly effective compounds from the potent raw materials.
Although this is an expensive process, it yields a superior molecule. Other organic brands tend to use chemical solvents such as hexane or ether which adulterate the final product as well as heat distillation which inhibits therapeutic properties.
What Does Pure Guild Acne Treatment Do?
Specially formulated for oily, acne-prone skin, Pure Guild Acne Treatment gently suppresses inflammation without the use of salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide which has a tendency to cause dryness, itching, peeling and other side-effects.
Pure Guild Acne Treatment rebalances the skin flora using Spiraea ulmaria (meadowsweet), an effective botanical regulator. In clinical studies, meadowsweet stimulates the body's natural immune response to microbial invations, inhibits the bacteria Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus aureus whilst regulating sebum production to lower greasiness.
