What is Acne?

How to Prevent Acne: Moving Forward
Acne does not have a permanent solution and you must continuously use a proven solution to treat and prevent break-outs and pimples. There are other things you can do, though - and these should become part of your daily routine:
- Don't over-cleanse the skin. Over-cleansing can dry out the skin and actually worsen the condition. If your skin is prone to acne, it will try to compensate for the dryness by producing even more oil which will result in further clogged pores and pimples.
- Don't pick the blemishes. By squeezing the spots, you are likely to scar and cause the skin on your face to look pitted and sore.
