What Are The Ingredients in PetAlive KC-Defense?

KC-Defense comes in convenient dissolvable granule form. The tiny granules are easy to administer to pets of all sizes, and are simply sprinkled on the back of the tongue and left to dissolve. No fuss and bother!

Preventative: KC-Defense may be given for up to a week at 3 - 6 month intervals to naturally support the immune system and promote respiratory health. This is highly recommended before a stay in kennels or a cattery, or for 5 - 7 days before a visit to the vet, if possible.

Acute:Administer every hour for up to 10 doses, or until symptoms subside. Thereafter, administer three times daily for 14 -21 days.

DOSAGE:

Cats and very small dogs: Large pinch of granules sprinkled into the mouth.

Small to medium dogs: Two pinches sprinkled into the mouth.

Medium to large dogs: 1/4 cap of granules sprinkled into the mouth

I bought in a 4 month old puppy and had it examined immediately by my vet who pronounced it fit and well in all respects; I then brought it home to live with my own dogs. Within days all mine had developed kennel cough, the puppy itself was fine, my vet says of course, it had already recovered from it when I bought it! My vet administered injections with no results whatsoever. I then discovered this product. I gave it to 2 of them who were rather poorly; within 24 hours they are completely different animals. I had read all the reviews and was really pleased with what i had read. My Dog has ongoing throat problems which are related to Kennel Cough. I bought this product in May 09 and have seen no change in him at all, Infact he is still under the Vets for the same symptoms. I have sent a letter to Peak Nutrition with no reply.

Nearly every time I leave my dog at the kennel for our/his annual 2 week holiday he comes back with kennel cough. I've tried using different kennels and even though most of them insist on vaccinations including for Kennel Cough - he still seems to suffer. The vet says he is just susceptible to it and get used to it happening.

Anyway, I thought this year I would try something different and found this site/product and, yes, he didn't suffer this year at all! Can't recommend highly enough. Thanks!!!!!

Question: Hi please can I have a quick response as I am very interested in the KC Defense for Kennel Cough. I only acquired a Staffie cross from a dogs' home yesterday and I believe she is showing signs of Kennel Cough - it was at the kennels. Then, depending upon the size of your dog he/she should have just a large pinch of granules once a day for a very small dog, or 2 pinches a day for small to medium dogs or 1/4 cap for medium to large dogs.
