Can C-Caps Cure Cancer in Pets?

This is not a claim that we can make. Cancer is a serious illness, and while the ingredients in C-Caps have shown very promising results in clinical trials, we recommend that they be used as supportive therapy to promote the overall health and vitality of your pet.

Please advise your vet that you are using C-Caps for your pet so that he or she can monitor results.

Success Stories...

“After only a few days, I noticed a new vitality and energy...it was like I had a puppy again. This combination of products has improved her overall health immensely.”

—Camille

“The vet recommended your C-Caps for our Siamese cat and we thought it would not hurt, although we were a bit doubtful. After about only 3 weeks there was already a big difference, especially in appetite and energy. We are so grateful for the help that this product is providing!”

—SH.

“Your C-Caps have made such a difference and are really easy to administer. I open the capsule as you said and mix the contents with a little butter and it all goes down like a dream! We have been struggling to get our dog to take a tonic, which we know is so important. The C-Caps are easy to give her without a struggle and we have seen a big improvement, and she seems very much more happy. Thank you for all your help and support! I am recommending your website to all of my friends!”

—Mandy J.

“We started our 9-year-old rescued German Shorthaired Pointer on C-Caps in July, and she is now going through her "second puppyhood". I have never seen her have so much energy. It's now been 4 months, and she is doing better than ever! We hope to have her with us for many years to come, and I thank C-Caps for that!”

—Erin Cox, CA

“I started (my two cats) on C-Caps and a high dose of vitamins; this was a year ago. The one is playing, his skin & coat are soft and shiny… he acts like he is young again. My second cat is still going strong, she is 3 months into her therapy and still hanging on. Neither one has suffered any. I thank you for your wonderful products.”

—Linda, CA

What Are The Ingredients in C-Caps?

  • Astragalus membranaceous (Huang Qi) is well known in traditional Chinese medicine. More recent research has highlighted the ability of this remedy to support the functioning of the immune system and its ability to protect against disease. Astragalus also helps to maintain blood sugar and blood pressure levels within the normal range, support vitality and a healthy appetite and maintain regular water metabolism.
  • Viscum album (Mistletoe) is used to support normal blood pressure and maintain a healthy immune system. Viscum album has been widely tested in both human and animal studies with many positive findings.
Echinacea purpurea is well known for its excellent benefits for immune functioning. Echinacea is also effective as a tonic for the lymphatic system. Regular use can help to keep your pet healthy and resistant to a range of illnesses.
  • Withania somnifera (Indian ginseng) is one of the most important Ayurvedic tonic herbs, assisting with growth, health and vigor. Regular use can help to nourish the blood and support healthy hemoglobin levels. This herb is often recommended as a strengthening and restorative tonic.
  • Sylibum marianus (Milk Thistle) is regarded as one of the most important herbal liver tonics and restoratives, and therapeutic use of Milk Thistle may be traced back more than 2000 years. Milk Thistle has been subject to many clinical trials which clearly demonstrate its effectiveness. Scientific analysis of Milk Thistle shows that it contains a flavonoid complex called silymarin, which is largely responsible for the therapeutic benefits of this herb. Silymarin is a powerful anti-oxidant and its positive effect on maintaining healthy liver functioning would have a direct impact on the overall systemic health of your pet as the liver is one of the most important organs in the body.
  • Uncaria tormentosa (Cat's Claw) has been used by the natives of Peru for hundreds of years. Cat's Claw boasts many therapeutic benefits, among them its supportive role in maintaining immune system strength.
  • Rice Powder (inactive ingredient)

I realised my 12 year old cat was ill Christmas four years ago when she began to swell up massively and became very distressed. She couldn't run or jump. I took her to the vets and was told that she had a massive lump in her bowel. A few days later she was seen by a senior vet at the same practice who said that there was no point in treating her as they had discovered her lump was cancerous and when the time came he could offer only painkillers and palliative care. Her cancer was so advanced she was unlikely to survive the month. I was unhappy and sought a second opinion because Emily was swelling like a balloon and the vet said she couldn't be treated for this. I took her to another vet who agreed with the first vet's diagnosis but prescribed her water tablets for the swelling, which gave her a little relief. He too did not believe she would survive the month. A few weeks later we saw another vet at the same practice who suggested that even if she survived cancer she would probably die of a stroke within weeks, I searched the internet for information and discovered c caps. I bought them with little hope, but within a couple of weeks I didn't have to give Emily water tablets any more. She has since had four happy, healthy, symptom free years. She is looking a little grey now and I realise at 16 I will probably lose her soon despite the fact that she is shiny, healthy and active. I give her a c cap capsule a couple of times a month. There is no other explanation for her recovery and even if the tumour diagnosis was wrong, nobody can explain to me why she stopped retaining massive massive amounts of water!

My Lurcher was diagnosed with a Chondrosarcoma in her right shoulder and due to the aggressive nature of the tumour it was advised to have her leg amputated.
She had the leg amputated and I started her on c-caps straight away, she is now 13 and a half and is eleven months post surgery, there is no signs of the tumour having spread or returning.
She only eats organically, drinks filtered water and takes c-caps twice a day, a brilliant product am sure it is contributing to her continued health.

Helped but no go in the end :-(

This is a good product and gave my pet several more months than he would have had, I'm sure of it. But in the end he succumbed to the disease and I lost him a few months ago. However, I am sure this and other homeopathic products helped prolong his life and gave him a better quality for his last few months.

Two vets said my cat, Adeline, would not survive the month. That was 10 months ago, and the vet now has given her (fingers crossed) a clean bill of health. It's all down to C-Caps, and I cannot recommend them strongly enough!

Started giving my cocker spaniel C-Caps after he had a cancer tumour removed, he is really well at the moment even though the vet thinks it will return. I dont know if it is doing him good but it certainly looks like it is! I will continue giving C-Caps and keep my fingers crossed.

I can't thank you enough. My vet didn't hold out much hope but so far Cassie (7yr collie) is doing well. My vet is still skeptical but she is slowly coming around that C-Caps is the reason! Fingers crossed we carry on like this!

Ask a Question

Question: Do C-Caps have any contraindications? I am currently waiting for my cat's histopathology results, but depending on the type of tumour his treatment options will be chemotherapy and/or steroids (most likely prednisone) - I would be grateful if you could please tell me whether it will be safe to give C-Caps as a supportive therapy? I am particularly keen to know whether there would be any problems combining C-Caps and Prednisone as this is the most likely treatment choice for him. Thank you for your time and help. I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Claire Stares
Our Answer:

Hello, I'm afraid that we cannot give specific advice on contraindications between C-Caps and prescribed medications - I would suggest that you take the product details to your vet for them to give you the go-ahead for using them alongside the prescribed medication your cat is on. C-Caps offers excellent supportive therapy, but we can only advise you to check with your vet first. Many thanks

Question: Hi - my 17 year old cat recently had full blood work done to try and establish the cause of her sudden desire to eat all the time (as worms had been ruled out). They found that she had very early kidney disease and problems with her white blood cells that suggested that she possibly has leukemia and / or lymphoma. The vet said she is too old for a biopsy so I can't confirm the diagnosis. Is it safe to give my cat c-caps as there is a chance (and I'm praying for it as the vet said there is no treatment) that she DOESN'T have leukemia or lymphoma?
Our Answer:

Hello, C-Caps is designed to give support to your pet's liver and lymphatic systems, so unless directed otherwise by your vet the C-Caps would be safe for your cat. C-Caps provide excellent support for your pet's system, and is not intended purely as a support for cancer. At 17, this may help boost your cat's overall levles of vitality and general health. Many thanks

Question: Hi
My 13 yr old girl cat has just been diagnosed with oral cancer
At the moment she is fine & eating well but has this swelling under her jaw
I'm not prepared to put her through conventional therapy's chemo/radiation & the like nor put her through an operation to remove the lump & probably part or all of her jaw
The vet & I were in agreement with my decision
He also said that pain relief wouldn't be effective in her case when the time came to administer that
Do you think my cat would benefit from these tablets
At the moment, she is ok, & as far as I can tell has little or no pain but then I won't know that for sure
It must be incomfortable for her
I know you can't give a guarantee but I would welcome some advice
Thanks
Our Answer:

Hello, I am sorry to hear about your cat. As you say, there are no guarantees for this type of product, and we only advocate the use of C-Caps as a supportive therapy for Cancer treatment. However, the feedback we have had has been encouraging and generally very positive (you can view the feedback in our Review page for the PetAlice C-Caps for Cancer Support). Most people have seen at the least an improvement in the quality of life for their pet, but others have reported some significant results. The tablets generally help with a loss of appetite and with the general vitality of your animal. We always recommend in Cancer cases that you speak to your vet - perhaps take a print out of the info and ingredients and get them to monitor your cat if you do decide to use them. Thank you, and good luck.

Question: How long do you give them c caps before you see a difference?
Our Answer:

Question: Can this product be given in combination with Nu pet granular greens?
Our Answer:

Having looked at the ingredients in Nu Pet Granular Greens I can't see a clash anywhere between them and PetAlive C-Caps so it should be fine. If in doubt, consult with your vet though. Thanks

Question: Our 11 year old boxer dog has just been diagnosed with liver disease (probably liver and stomach tumour). She is on steroids to make her eat but will not eat the special diet food to help deal with the liver problem. I understand that C-Caps will not cure her problem but do you think that it will help make her eat and drink properly and can she take it with the steriods

Thank you

Wendy
Our Answer:

Hi, we can't say for sure whether C-Caps will help increase your pets appetite to be honest. Yes she can take it with steroids too. C-Caps should help with liver health though and help improve the immunity system. Either way, good luck and I hope your pet recovers.

Question: my 9yr old dog has just had a sarcoma removed from his side - will these tablets prevent the disease from spreading to the lungs if any cancer cells are remaining?
Our Answer:

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you I had to check with the manufacturers to be sure. However, they have now confirmed that the C-Caps remedy will not be able to prevent metastases of malignant cells. I am sorry about this and wish you and your pet all the luck in the future. Kind regards

Question: our 7 year old dog has lymphoma in the advanced stage, it is now in her bone marrow. would this tablet buy us some more time with her?
Our Answer:

To be honest, I don't think so - C-Caps is primarily used by people looking for a preventative solution and a natural back up during recovery/remission. While we have had miracle stories they are rare. Good luck and I'm sorry to hear about your dog. Kind regards
