About Kegel Pelvic Toner
It's an unfortunate fact, but approximately half of all women suffer from stress incontinence at some point in their lives
- Did you know that there is a link between a weakened pelvic floor and natural childbirth - but that performing kegel exercises (pelvic floor exercises) can alleviate this?
- Pelvic floor exercises are ineffectively carried out as they can be difficult to locate without help.
- Clinical studies have shown that a quarter of all women feel their sex lives have suffered due to post-natal incontinence and a lack of sensitivity in the vagina
What Do You Mean By A Kegel Pelvic Toner?
A Kegel Pelvic Toner is a mechanical, progressive resistance trainer which is designed to give the pelvic floor a thorough work-out based on kegel exercises devised by Dr Arnold Kegel, a clinical gynaecologist.
How Does It Work?
The Pelvic Toner is inserted into the vagina and you contract the muscles to bring the two arms of the toner together. Initially, the reps will be fairly low, but you build on these, increasing the strength of the muscles, increasing your endurance and later, the resistance of the device by adding extra springs. Results have shown that with daily use, the Pelvic Toner starts to improve muscle tone in as little as one week.
The Pelvic Toner is a straightforward piece of equipment, simple and painless to use.
The Facts of Incontinence...
Many women fail to seek clinical help due to their perceived embarrassment surrounding the problem. Women who do seek medical help have often tolerated the problems for a minimum of four years. Around 20% of women over 40 notice leakage and over half of all women will experience stress incontinence at some point in their lives
(Gallup, 1994).
The Pelvic Toner is a unique patented device developed in the USA after extensive research. The Pelvic Toner is registered as a Medical Device in the EU and approved by the FDA in the USA.
Another Fact For You ...
Many women report a downturn in their sexual satisfaction after childbirth due to lack of sensitivity and 'tightness' in the vagina. Exercising the pelvic floor muscles can actually improve the intensity of orgasm quite dramatically. 50% of Pelvic Toners users have reported that their vaginal embrace has significantly improved, leading to a more satisfying sex life.
(UK User Survey)
It Sounds Too Good To Be True...
In 2001, 5000 women were asked to take part in a Pelvic Toner trial and their observations were recorded via questionnaire.
80% of participants noticed that their incidences of leaking upon coughing or sneezing had 'improved' or 'much improved'. A staggering 30% observed an improvement in as little as one week.
50% of the participants said that, due to use of the Pelvic Toner, their vaginal embrace had improved - a fact also noted by their partners!
The Pelvic Toner has been featured in many magazines including She Magazine (Sept 2009) which stated that the PelvicToner would make your pelvic floor stronger in just two weeks.
Some Reviews For You To Consider...
"If you’re one of the many women who has never experienced a vaginal orgasm, or you are about to give birth, you’re probably already aware that working your pelvic-floor muscles could help. But, even though pelvic-floor contractions are so subtle that they can be performed even at the bus stop, it is often hard to tell if you’re getting them right. The answer is to invest in a PelvicToner, a two-pronged plastic device that sits in the vagina and closes like a crocodile’s jaw when you strike gold with the right squeeze. Ingenious."
Times Online, Body Matters, August 2006
"In just a few words "your" PelvicToner has worked wonders for me. I just cannot believe it. I have always had to wear a thick pad but after three weeks I am now down to panty liners. I would be willing to talk to anyone if you wish me to. I think it's magic. You have made me a very happy person. It's Great!!"

The Wright Stuff Talks About Pelvic Toner
The Sparkly Red model was discussed on TV's Wright Stuff (C4) recently, which you can watch below. Unfortunately, you will need to ignore Mr Wright's juvenile behaviour. The Doctor discussing the Pelvic Toner has some extremely pertinent points to make.

Ask a Question
- Question: what is the difference between Kegel pelvic toner and pelvic toner sparkly red?
- Our Answer:
Hello, the only difference is the colour - one is white and the Kegel Pelvic Toner Sparkly Red is, well, Sparkly Red! The Toner works in exactly the same way, helping you manually build up the muscles in the pelvic floor. Many thanks.
- Question: Can I get a free one and if I like it I pay you?
- Our Answer:
Hi, I wish that was the case but no, I'm afraid not. YOu need to purchase one and we don't accept returns once opened and used for obvious reasons. Kind regards.
- Question: Can I use the Kegel Toner when I have a prolapsed bladder, doctor has advised me to do pelvic floor exercises.
- Our Answer:
It should be fine and many of our customers are people with similar problems. However, as every prolapse is different it may well be worth discussing with the doctor or nurse beforehand. Kind regards
- Question: How do you actually use the Pelvic Toner, as it looks very big!
- Our Answer:
Hi, it's not that big to be honest and it's only inserted a short way. If you are concerned over the size you may wish to consider one of the electro ones like Femetone or PelviTone - they are quite a bit smaller as they rely on electrostimulation rather than resistance. Thanks
- Question: Can I tell if the exercise is working?
- Our Answer:
You will become more aware of your vaginal muscles and will be able to perform more squeezes with ease. This is the time to increase the resistance by adding a second or a strong spring.
- Question: Should I worry about soreness?
- Our Answer:
The PelvicToner may produce some soreness or a slightly uncomfortable feeling, but no more than exercising any other body part. If it hurts stop and allow the muscles to recuperate. Make sure that you are relaxed and well lubricated before you begin. This will help enormously.
- Question: Who should not use the PelvicToner?
- Our Answer:
Many midwives advise that pelvic floor exercises should not be carried out during pregnancy. Do not use the PelvicToner if you are, or may be, pregnant or are post partum. For most women this means waiting 8-12 weeks after birth, and until any episiotomy has healed, before commencing toning exercises. Women who are postpartum, prone to genito-urinary tract infections or who have had prior genito-urinary tract surgery should consult their physician prior to using the product.
- Question: Is the PelvicToner certified safe?
- Our Answer:
The PelvicToner is registered as a Medical Device in the EU and approved by the FDA in the USA.
