What is the Anuform Anal Probe?
If you suffer with rectal issues such as weak muscles and fecal incontinence, the Anuform is a safe and effective treatment to combat these problems.
Used in conjunction with a pelvic toner device such as the PelviTone by Neurotrac, the Anuform probe offers fast and effective muscle toning for the rectal area and is specially designed for safe and comfortable anal use. The Anuform is reusable by the same person, so you do not have to purchase new probes for each rectal training session.
The probe has an ergonomically contoured shape which sits snugly into the anus providing great connectivity between the electrode and rectal wall tissue - this allows for comfortable stimulation and accurate biofeedback results.
The Anuform allows you to compare EMG readings over different sessions so you know how your rectal muscles are improving over time.
The Anuform is user-friendly and comfortable so you will feel relaxed when using it. It also allows you to remain mobile during the rectal work-out.
More About The Product
Although the Anuform has been specifically designed for use in the rectum, you can also use it if you require a smaller and easy-to-use vaginal probe for strengthening the pelvic floor muscles in the event that you suffer with urinary incontinence. You should not, however, for hygeine reasons, alternate between the two with the one probe!
When used as an anal probe, it is advisable to use some type of lubricant such as our water-based Yes Lubricant or the Athena Hydro Gel. The anus is not self-lubricating and therefore use of one of these gels will ensure ease of use and greater comfort.
How Does the Anuform work?
When attached to an Electronic Muscle Stimulator such as the PelviTone by Neurotrac, the Anuform anal probe delivers a safe electric current to the sphincter muscles in the anus to stimulate and tone and make them stronger. The EMS to which you attach the probe will give you biofeedback as to the strength of current and will show the information you require to let you know that the muscles are being toned and exercised correctly.
