About Norstar Neo 2 Pack
Each 1" Norstar Neo disk offers the deepest, fastest magnetic approach to soft tissue injury whether from arthritis. pulled muscles, tendons or torn ligaments.
The Neo will play a large part in the relief of pain and the reduction of inflamed and swollen joints- For the whole family - Use it as a 'plaster for pain'.

How Do Magnets Work?
The science of Magnotherapy indicates that two vital things happen when a magnet is placed on the skin:
- First, the soft tissue will lengthen and help to relax down a muscle or ligament that is damaged or traumatised. It will work in an area and depth directly proportional to the type and strength of the magnet used. Depending on the strength, you should be able to effect a change to a radius of between 3-5 inches around any one magnet and to a similar depth.
- Secondly, the tissue relaxes, oxygen and blood flow that has so far restricted access to the damaged site is allowed in and is increased. This effect can be seen using thermal imaging techniques.
Normally an injured site, whether from arthritis, torn muscles or any other condition, will be surrounded by inflammation.
This can comprise of lactic acids, calcium and other deposits. Basically the site is "hot" with acidity.
The increase in oxygen and blood flow brings with it increased alkalinity.
This neutralises the acidity, allowing the body to start its own healing abilities. Magnets merely encourage this in a truly dramatic way.
Magnet therapy activates the following responses in the body;
- Lengthen and relax tissue
- Commence the process of flushing out debris and inflammation from the site
- Start the body's own pain relieving system.
How Soon Do Magnets Work?
If a magnet is going to work for you, it can happen within hours when quality magnets are placed over the damaged area.
Normally, improvements would be seen within 1 - 7 days, when you are directly treating the site of pain.
With magnet therapy, it must be remembered that is it necessary to drink at least 3-4 glasses of water a day, this being needed to flush from your system the toxins being released from the cells.

Brilliant pain killers

I have suffered on and off for twenty years with tendonitis and/or impingement in my shoulders. I get it in both shoulders - they seem to take turns. Having had cortizone injections and lots of physio treatment which has not worked long term I was happy to try something new.
You tape the little magnets wherever you need them (they come with some tape - which was a bit too sticky so I bought some less tacky stuff from the chemist!). Within an hour of wearing them the pain in my shoulder began to recede. I was unwilling to take them off at night as they gave me such relief and found that I could happily sleep with them on. They didn't disturb me at all. Sometimes I changed the position of the two magnets if I found they weren't working as well but mostly they just worked beautifully. My shoulder seemed to heal itself over approx. 3 weeks and I found I was okay to take the magnets off. They are in my cupboard for now but they will definitely be back out the minute my shoulders start to give me trouble again. I have nothing bad to say about this item except that they can look a bit odd if you wear a sleeveless top like I did but when they ease your pain you don't really care.

Actually, no - the letter "n" facing outwards so you can see it. You attach to the area requiring attention with the enclosed medical tape. For say a bad shoulder, I personally attach one on "either side" so to speak - it eases it up considerably through the night then and at least I can get some sleep!
