What is Capsipure?

Capsicum contains volatile oils which can cause extreme irritation to the mouth and gastric system which has, until now, prevented them from being used at the dosage required to produce the desired effects.
The Benefits of Capsicum
Capsicum Can Help Manage the Appetite!
One of the main reasons diets fail is hunger. Therefore, appetite control is a key consideration in developing effective diet plans.
A number of studies have found that the addition of capsaicinoids (the active component of chilli peppers) to the diet causes a reduction in ad libitum (free-feeding) energy intake during subsequent meals. That is to say, eating capsicum at breakfast will cause a person to eat fewer calories at lunch. A dramatic example of the hot capsicum's appetite-suppressing capability has been illustrated by a 2001 study published in the British Journal of Nutrition (Yoshioka 2001). When subjects ate 22g hot pepper, providing 66mg capsaicinoids, plus 800mg caffeine spread out over a 24-hour period, they had a negative energy balance of 956 kilocalories compared to the placebo group.
Capsicum Helps Increase Diet-Induced Thermogenesis
When human subjects were purposefully overfed in laboratory settings, some of them gained large amounts of weight while others managed to burn most of the excess calories - how did this happen?
The answer appears to be found in the varying rates of diet-induced thermogenesis. This is the process by which excess calories are converted into heat energy rather than stored as fat.
Together with basal metabolic rate and activity-induced thermogenesis, diet-induced thermogenesis is one of three factors that contribute to a person's daily energy expenditure.
Consequently, if we increase our capacity for diet-induced thermogenesis, we may be able to fight the flab!
Capsicum Beneficially Affects Body Composition
The body's composition is determined by the ratio of body fat to lean body tissues. Excess body fat, as we all know, and in particular visceral fat which collects around the internal organs, is dangerous to the health and can increase the likelihood of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
Research has discovered that capsaicinoids stimulate a chain of physiological events that aid the break-down of fat in the body (Kawada 1986, 1991).
Studies on both animals and humans have shown that capsaicinoid ingestion leads to a reduction in the percentage of body fat.
A study published in the Journal of Nutritional Science & Vitaminology (2003) showed that supplements containing capsaicin, green tea extract and chicken essence caused around a one-pound fat loss over a two week period when compared to a placebo (Tsi 2003)
