Hi, you would need to discuss this with your GP first as we have no idea why medicine you are taking of course and how this may or may not interact with a hoodia supplement. Many thanks
Oh yes - definitely as effective and you can chew them and they are nice and minty! In fact, chewing them speeds up the process a little as your stomach doesn't have to break them down as much! Thanks
Hi, to be honest we couldn't possibly say what is the best diet for you personally as everyone is different. Hoodia is taken to help relieve appetite and therefore help you control snacking. Personally, I follow a diet of plenty of fruit and vegetables, little red meat and I snack on fruit. But, like I said, everyone is different and there are loads of diet books on Amazon that will surely help you. Good luck!
Yes, more or less. Hoodia is used to help suppress appetite and control snacking - once you have trained yourself not to snack you won't need it - it's just there to help in the first few weeks. That's how I used it anyway!
Not at all, no, it shouldn't effect it at all. Thanks
Oh yes - ours is fully certified - one of the few in the UK. Hence why its 'fairly' expensive compared to some of the rubbish you see advertised on the internet nowadays! Thanks
Hi, you will need to discuss this with your GP or health care professional I'm afraid as we cannot comment on the interaction of medical drugs for legal reasons. Just ask them whether you can take Hoodia with your meds. Many thanks
Hi, we are not allowed to comment on this for legal reasons and you would need to discuss this with your GP I'm afraid. Sorry! Thanks
Hi, what's important is that you take it evenly spaced throughout the day. Personally, I take just 2 a day and I take one in the morning when I get up and one around 5 pm. However, my wife takes them around these times which coincides with after breakfast, before lunch and before dinner by about an hour! I don't think it makes any difference before or after food to be honest but I would not take with food. Thanks
There are no known interactions between Hoodia and any contraceptive pill, no.
Yep, 100% pure hoodia extract only. NO STIMULANTS at all. Great pricer, money back guarantee and it works. What more do you need ;-) Thanks
Absolutely not, not where we are concerned anyway! There are an awful lot of fakes out there and you should only buy from reputable companies, like us of course. Hoodia Mint contains Hoodia that is extracted from the Hoodia plant. You can read the product specification sheet here:
http://www.peak-nutrition.co.uk/images/prodimages/hoodia-mint/raw/HoodiaMint_ProductSpecification.pdf
You can view the import certification here:
http://www.peak-nutrition.co.uk/images/prodimages/hoodia-mint/raw/HoodiaMint_ExportCertificate.pdf
And finally, one last comment to make that is very important. The only way to guarantee that a Hoodia product has genuine Hoodia content is if it has P57 and this has to be tested by Alkemists Pharmaceutical or Chromodex test labs. These are the only 2 that are licensed by Phytopharm which is the company that identified the active ingredient in the Hoodia plant that has the ..... qualities. You can see the results from the former test lab here:
www.peak-nutrition.co.uk/downloads/p57.pdf.
You can see in the conclusion part of these lab results that "... is consistent with fingerprint 1. Analyte P57 which is used as the marker compound to assess identify and quality of Hoodia Gordonii can be detected"
I hope this rather long reply has helped and it will be published under the Q&A element of the Hoodia Mint webpage for all to see. Thanks
Hi, our Hoodia is an extract from the Hoodia Cactus plant, yes, and it's manufactured by Health Synergetics in South Africa and imported into the UK that way. It has the P57 and is under license from PhytoPharm - so, 100% genuine and fully licensed and the REAL DEAL! We are a reputable UK company and would never sell fakes etc though I understand there is a lot of fake Hoodia on the market nowadays! Thanks
Hi, as you are on medication we can't advise for legal reasons so all we can suggest that you ask your GP whether you can take Hoodia or not with your current medication.
You would need to check with your Dr that you are ok to take Hoodia whilst on your meds. Thanks
Hi, I am afraid, as usual, there are no test or to see if Hoodia Mint is safe when breast feeding so we have to say no, don't take it while nursing. Sorry.
