Ask a Question
- Question: If I am gluten intolerant will the green barely grass affect me...since barely has gluten in it...
- Our Answer:
Hello, although barley grass (purely the grass and not seeds) is gluten free, it matters whether the barley grass is harvested and how they are made into products that matters.
So, if the grass is allowed to produce seeds, then it is no longer gluten free, and if the manufacturer of the supplement also produces other gluten containing products, then there is a chance of cross contamination. We would advise that you avoid any product containing barley that does not specifically state it is gluten free. As this product does not, then I would recommend you select an alternative. Many thanks
