What Else Do I Need to Know?
The Cordless Controller is a compact unit which has a default setting of 15 minutes - you don't have to worry at all about over-exercising the pelvic floor knowing that this is in place. Its features include:
- On/Off Switch: If, at any point during the exercise routine you need to terminate the programme, simply press the off switch and turn the unit off.
- Intensity Regulator: You can turn the dial up or down to increase the intensity of the work-out. The more you use the AthenaFem, the stronger your pelvic floor muscles will become and as you improve, you will need to increase the strength of the impulses.
- Incontinence Mode Switch: If you choose the Stress Incontinence programme, the unit will strengthen and tone the pelvic floor muscles. For Urge Incontinence, the AthenaFem will relax the muscles of the pelvic floor to overcome the involuntary muscles spasms which occur with this disorder.
The Training Device - it's a small, ergonomically designed trainer which is easy to insert and remove - just think of it as a tampon. As it is wireless, you have total freedom of movement. Embedded within the trainer are two stainless steel electrodes which emit the electrical impulses required to ennervate the correct pelvic floor muscles.

Can I Purchase the VAT Exempt Version?
