are there any known side effects to using a laser beam on your scalp ? I assume there is no radio-active waves involved with this product?
Peak Nutrition reply:
There are no known side effects with the HairMax LaserComb - remember that the technology used has been cleared by the FDA for safe and effective treatment of hair loss - FDA clearance is notoriously difficult to get! There is no radioactivity involved as the LaserComb uses low-level laser therapy.

Hi, I just recently sudden hair loss, almost most of my hair in the front region is gone and it is thinning as day goes. I consulted a trichologists, they said am starting to experience male pattern balsness(Genetically). Will this product give a solution to my problem, even if it comes genetically? And how does it counteract DHT?
Peak Nutrition reply
Hello, the LaserComb has been shown to be effective in the treatment of genetic male pattern baldness. The HairMax LaserComb is now the first non-drug, home-use medical device cleared by the FDA to treat the millions of men and women suffering from hereditary hair loss. Studies on the effects of Laser PhotoTherapy have shown an increase in adenosine triphosphate, or ATP, which contributes to the higher energy level in the living cells. In addition, an increase in blood flow to the capillaries of the hair root occurs, delivering more nutrients to the living cells that create the hair shaft. This increased blood flow also carries away more waste products which may diminish the effects of DHT on the miniaturization process of the hair follicles.

hairline just started receding in the front and temple regions don't need any regrowth just wondering if i will stop from further recession

Yes, there is every chance that the HairMax will help with that. It is indicated to do so based on the clinical trials and FDA approval. In fact, capturing it this early will really help and remember, we have a 6 month money back guarantee. I think you should see great results in such a time as 6 months.
Kind regards

Hi How does this product work with other products like hair fibres which i use as a cover up? Thanks.
Peak Nutrition reply: Hi, the LaserComb will work well with hair fibres such as Nanogen or Hairmax fibres - the teeth of the comb part the hair to provide the laser therapy directly to the scalp, so hair fibres do not interfere with the treatment. Many thanks

hi,i have receeding ,thining hair around and above my ears and lower back of my head ,basicaly i keep my hair short back and sides for that reason, will it work around those areas ?
Peak Nutrition Reply:
Oh yes, it will certainly be as effective in those areas as others. The LaserComb works by stimulating growth in the hair follicles even if they are dormant.

hi i have had alopecia for over 15 years, the doctors say my scalp is scared and my hair will never grow back, i am afro carribean and i would like to know if the combe will help hair growth, i am completly bald, i only have hair at the back of my head, i am a 48yr old black woman, and in desperate need of your help, this condition has made me very depressed please help if you can
Peak Nutrition Reply:
If you have scarring and the doctors say that your hair will never grow back I'm afraid that it is likely that the HairMax LaserComb will not help, no - it will help existing hair follicles grow, even if they are dormant, but if they are dead then there is little that can be done as far as we are aware, other than transplants. Sorry.
